Missions Department Executive Chairman
This position works closely with the Missions President, Regional, Missions Executive Broad – Secretary and Treasurer. To assist the Missions Presidents in carrying out the purpose of the department, by providing leadership and supervision in areas as so designated by the Presidents; to assume and exercise the functions of the Mission Presidents in the absence of the President and or Vice Presidents until an official appointment is made by the Jurisdictional Bishop. The Missions Chairman will presume this role until a Missions Liaison Team is put in place once again from the Jurisdictional Bishop. This position is very serious to the overall work of the New Mexico Jurisdiction Missions Department.
Responsibility Includes but not limited to

Consult with President to provide continuity within the department.

Assist the President with overall strategic planning.

Serve as troubleshooter for the department.

Serves as Executive Board Member

Alternative spokes person for the department

Encourage Jurisdictional Presidents to make timely National reports.

Developing and implementing policies and procedures to carry out the department objectives.

Responsible for taking care of Presidents offerings and love gifts by sharing information to other staff members and clearly communicating with Jurisdictional Vice Presidents, District Presidents and all Local Presidents , Youth Pastors etc…

Consult with President and Executive Secretary regarding the agenda for each meeting. This also includes the Executive Treasurer of the Mission Department. Chairman is responsible to conduct those business meetings called by the Mission Department President.

Work very closely with all Vice Presidents, making sure that the department continues to run smoothly.

Provide training when necessary to all Mission Departments, Jurisdictional, District or Local Mission workers concerning their positions and or building of their department’s ministries.

Chairman may be asked to MC various Jurisdictional Programs designated Missions President in an official manner.
