Elder Andre Singletary

 Jurisdiction President

Elder Andre Singletary was born again in 1982 at the age of 18. While attending a revival in Alamogordo, New Mexico,Singletary received the baptism of the Holy Ghost.  This dynamic encounter with God’s Spirit not only changed his life but caused him to seek for more of the Lord’s presence and power.  One night while Elder Singletary was praying the Lord showed him a vision, and in the vision the Lord was calling him to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ, he answered the call.
He began to work within and around the church most of his life; he has been active in several departments throughout the church. YPWW, Missions, Sunday School, Evangelism, and the list goes on.  Elder Singletary is a family man. He is a husband and a father in a home where Godly principles are practiced.

Elder Singletary is currently the Assistant Pastor of Joylight Church of God In Christ in Albuquerque, New Mexico, under the leadership of the First Administrative Assistant, Superintendent Claude Bell.  He is a trainer to other ministers and evangelist, equipping them for the work of the ministry.  Elder Singletary was appointed the state Evangelist President under the leadership of Bishop W.C. Green.

He believes that God has truly called him for such a time as this, to teach and preach to the people of God, equipping them to fully utilize their gifts and walk in their calling.  To this day, Elder Andre Singletary remains faithful and obedient, not only to his calling, but also to the leadership he is under.
